The Lake Oswego Preservation Society is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation.  Our mission is to support Lake Oswego’s historic fabric through advocacy and education.

    Advocacy Objectives:

(a) Provide guidance and support for preservation opportunities on local, state and national levels.

(b) Collaborate with local municipalities to strengthen recognition of historic resource status and the opportunities such status provides.

    Education Objectives:

  1. (a)Outreach to focus groups aligned with sustainable communities.  Included are real estate, planning/development, local businesses and business associations, local economic development/tourism organizations, neighborhoods.

The Society is an all-volunteer organization. There are no paid staff and we do not have a physical building to maintain so 100% of the donations we receive are dedicated to our mission.
